I ordered a few bead mixes from jessejamesbeads.com, and there were definitely some really colors in the bags. That said, the quality wasn’t quite as consistent as I was hoping for. A few beads had small chips, rough holes, or scratched coatings when they arrived.

I’ll still be able to use some of them for practice pieces or casual projects, so it wasn’t a total loss. I probably wouldn’t use the imperfect ones for gifts or anything I sell, though. Shipping was fine, but for the price, I was hoping the beads would be a bit cleaner overall.

I was hoping to find a better mix of bead styles, but the selection felt limited. A lot of the items looked really similar, and I couldn’t find many colors or sizes that matched what I had in mind.
I did end up placing an order because I needed a few basic pieces, but after paying I started feeling a little unsure about it. The site didn’t give me the most confident feeling, and for browsing or finding something unique, I was disappointed

I was excited to try Jesse James Beads because everything looked so cute online, and for a minute I was like, okay, maybe this is going to be my new favorite bead shop.

Then the order showed up and my mood changed real quick. The beads were nice enough, but for the price, I expected something way more special. Instead, they felt kind of basic, like stuff I’ve found elsewhere for less.
Maybe I’d feel differently if I grabbed them during a big sale, but at full price? No thanks. It mostly felt like I was paying extra for the name, not because the beads were actually worth it.

So... customer service took forever to get back to me, and when they finally did, the replies came off rude. I didn’t feel like they helped me at all.
